Senior Business Analyst · SAP FI/CO · Data Strategist

I turn business
complexity into
strategic clarity.

Working at the intersection of enterprise systems, data, and human decision-making — to build organizations that run smarter.

Who I Am

The person behind
the process.

I'm Sohrab — a Business Analyst, data strategist, and educator based in Baku, Azerbaijan. For over seven years, I've worked where strategy meets execution: in the room when organizations decide to change, and still there when the change actually happens.

My work spans three roles simultaneously — leading SAP FI/CO implementation at Azerbaijan Railways, consulting on AI-powered government projects at Eurodesign CSJC, and teaching business analysis at Code Academy. Each role sharpens the others.

I speak four languages, which means I've learned that clarity is never just a language problem — it's always a thinking problem first.

What I Do

Three things I'm
exceptionally good at.

Enterprise Transformation

I lead complex system implementations — SAP FI/CO, ERP migrations, AI integrations — from requirements through go-live. I make sure the technology fits the business, not the other way around.

Data Strategy & Analytics

From raw operational data to executive dashboards: I design KPI frameworks, analytics pipelines, and reporting systems that give leadership the visibility to make confident decisions.

  • ML Requirements

Education & Mentoring

I teach business analysis at Code Academy — turning theory into practice through real-world projects. I believe sharing how to think about problems creates more solutions than any single consultant ever could.

My Story

Complexity is never
the enemy.
Confusion is.

I grew up believing the best solutions come from understanding people first, systems second. That belief has shaped every project I've taken on.

After nearly a decade at the crossroads of enterprise technology and business strategy, I've built a practice around one core idea: my job is not to deliver documents — it's to change how organizations think.

At Azerbaijan Railways, I'm helping one of the country's largest enterprises rethink its financial and operational systems from the ground up. At Eurodesign, I'm bridging the gap between AI research and government policy. At Code Academy, I'm training the analysts who will tackle problems I haven't even seen yet.

Each role asks the same fundamental question: what does this organization actually need, and what's standing in the way? That question is what gets me to the whiteboard every morning.
